MEGA, founded in 2020, is a dynamic NGO based in Diyarbakır, Turkey, dedicated to youth participation, intercultural understanding, social inclusion, active citizenship, and human rights. Despite being a relatively young organisation, MEGA’s board and members bring nearly 16 years of experience in EU-funded projects, including Erasmus+ KA220, Horizon 2020, Life Long Learning Programme, and numerous national initiatives.
Our mission is to empower young people and disadvantaged groups—particularly refugees, migrants, Roma, NEET youth, and women—with knowledge, skills, and competences to innovate, engage in their communities, and influence policies.We are strongly committed to anti-discrimination, peace building, cultural diversity, and social integration, using non-formal education, storytelling, digital tools, and participatory methods to ensure inclusion.
