Objectives
e-CRAFTS fosters local craft and e-commerce for women at risk of social exclusion is a project designed to strengthen the digital and entrepreneurial skills of women in vulnerable situations, enabling them to participate in the digital economy and access new opportunities in the craft sector. Through training, mentoring, and the creation of a dedicated online marketplace, the project aims to break down barriers to economic autonomy and support the sustainable development of women-led craft businesses across Europe.
Facilitate access to digital markets through the creation of the E-CRAFTS Marketplace platform and support systems for online sales, marketing, and digital business management.
Ensure the project’s long-term sustainability through a clear dissemination plan, multiplier events, and the development of a model that can be replicated in other contexts.
Develop accessible training programs in digitalization and entrepreneurship, including a MOOC covering e-commerce, digital marketing, business management, and finance, with materials adapted to different levels of digital literacy.
Reduce structural barriers to inclusion by establishing mentoring networks, collaborating with NGOs and community centers for access to technology and training, and implementing inclusive teaching methods.
