On 15–16 December 2025, the partners of the E-CRAFTS project gathered in Spain for the Kick-off Meeting. The meeting marked an important milestone in the implementation of the project and provided a valuable opportunity for partners to align objectives, methodologies, and timelines.

During the two-day meeting, the consortium reviewed the overall structure of the project and its key indicators. Special attention was given to participant engagement, highlighting the importance of involving more than 35 women per partner in the project platform in order to ensure wide outreach and impact, even when participants do not complete all training modules.

A central topic of discussion was the development of the MOOC and training modules. Partners agreed on a common structure for the modules, emphasizing the need for interactive and engaging content, including videos, games, and practical activities.

The meeting also focused on the E-CRAFTS digital platform, where partners discussed ways to ensure that all components are well integrated and user-friendly. In order to support participants, the creation of visual guides and infographics was proposed, as well as active encouragement for women to engage and share experiences through the platform forum.

Another key point was the planning of national workshops and multiplier events. Partners discussed the importance of organizing in-person workshops within the same timeframe across all participating countries.

Dissemination and communication activities were also addressed. Partners agreed to increase online communication efforts and launch a strong dissemination and recruitment campaign. The draft version of the project website was presented, and the importance of sharing success stories of participating women was highlighted.

Finally, partners reviewed quality assurance measures, legal aspects related to data protection and image rights, and agreed on the next steps and deadlines. The next Transnational Project Meeting will take place in the Netherlands in October 2026, while online coordination meetings will be held monthly.

The TPM in Spain laid a solid foundation for the successful implementation of E-CRAFTS, reinforcing collaboration among partners and setting a clear path forward to empower women at risk of social exclusion through digital entrepreneurship and e-commerce.
